These are very simple and fun to make. In fact, kids love helping with these and popping them out of their molds. BCAA gummies are low calorie snacks and satisfy that sweet tooth and chewy urge we all get. Don’t expect a traditional store bought gummy and they do require refrigeration.
You will need silicone molds. I bought a variety of shapes on amazon. I also bought my 1 lb container of gelatin and confection flavoring through amazon as well.
2 cups water
1/2 cup gelatin
1/2 teaspoon citric acid
2-3 scoops BCAA
3 drops LorAnne oils gourmet fruit flavors
Slowly mix in gelatin. The gelatin will clump and stick but it will eventually dissolve as the water comes to a simmer. Add BCAAs and and citric acid. When all gelatin is dissolved, turn off heat. Slowly pour or spoon gelatin in molds. Place tray in freezer for 10-15 mins and then into the fridge. Once they are hard, you can pop them out of the trays keep cold. You may want to adjust the recipe based on your taste and experiment with your flavors.
